So it has been a few days since my last post and in that time Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson have both passed away. It got me thinking about living and wills. Farrah I am sure would prepared one since she knew her situation, however I wonder how prepared MJ was.

How prepared are you? Do you have a living will? If you have children, what provisions have you made for their future? Take the time now to put your house in order since you never know when you will be called.

What should your living will contain? It should have instructions for:

1. medical attention and care in the event that you are incapacitated and cannot respond. You can have  a separate document – a living will
2. organ donation information

You may also have a separate will to provide for:

1. care of your children – guardians  etc
2. disbursement of assets.

So hope you think about those you love and act today.
